We believe that giving our tithes and offerings
is an act of worship.

The first mention of tithing in the Bible is found in Genesis 14, when Abram (before he was called Abraham), after a victorious battle, honored God by giving a tithe to Melchizedek, recognizing him as God's representative.

Later, in Genesis 28, Jacob also chose to honor God by committing to give his tithe after a life-changing encounter with the Lord.

From these accounts, we understand that giving our tithes and offerings is an expression of worship and
honor to God.
